What to pack for vacation is a question going through endless minds at this very moment. Your thinking of where you’re going, you’re looking at your things and you’re kind of stuck on what to decide to bring & what to do next. This unfortunately can lead to you being so overwhelmed that you end up forgetting things or end up bringing way too much. Either way, you do not want to be in that scenario.
One of the best things you can do is to start getting your things together early so you have time to look at what you have, what you actually need, and what you could do without. There’s nothing worse than arriving at your resort ready to go plunge into the beautiful pool only to realize that you forgot your swimsuit. Bummer!! Of course you’re going to go get a new one, but why start out your vacation with having to buy something and delay getting your fun started by forgetting something you already had to begin with.
What to pack for vacation??….Consider these things:
Make little piles, go through them, weed out what you don’t need.
Thinking of these things should get you going in the right direction. One of the best processes to have while thinking of what to pack for vacation is to visualize each day. For example: If you’re going on a 7 day vacation, start with your first day and pick items of clothing for that day only. One of everything you know you may need is a good place to start. Think of the things that you’ll be doing for the day and that will help you decide on what you might need.
When you break it down like this for each day, it makes packing less overwhelming and allows you to have more fun with it. Once you have each day separated into little piles, it’s much easier to see what you may not need, what can be layered for possible multiple day uses, and what you may have forgotten. Remember that having your basics that can be utilized multiple times will help in minimizing what you need to pack.
